The Department of Chemistry was started in the year 1992 with 29 students registered for B.Sc., Chemistry. The Department strength is progressively improved and the department has started M.Sc., Chemistry with 8 students in the year 2012-13. The department has qualified faculty members. The Department has so far produced 4 University ranks.
