English Language plays a vital role in the life of an individual. Even everyone in the society is estimated with their language skills and it creates the identity of a person. Language and literary skills are so essential for being employed in the modern life. We build confidence among students by giving continuous training in Listening, Speaking, Reading & Writing Skills. The Department’s, Koffee House Club serves as a platform for the students to explore their talents in Literary Quiz, Poetry Writing, Short Story Writing, Drama, Character Parade, Book Review, Documentary Film etc. Updated curriculums are farmed to fulfill the need of the students to choose their desired job. As add on courses, Business English Skills (BES- Trinity College, London) offered to the I B.A English Students, and Business English Certificate (BEC- Cambridge, London) offered in two levels Prelim & Vantage for the II B.A English Students. Being the PG and Research department of English, we motivate and give space for our students to choose Project at UG itself. The base of this research experiences help them to do Project at PG, Dissertation at M.Phil & Thesis at Ph.D productively. As a result our students are able to understand the human values, importance of women’s education and equipped to face the challenging life in the society.
